Shadow(#8) I took this picture at around 9:30 at night These techniques did not apply because i took the picture on a fly on my phone camera so i could not change or calculate the ISO WB apperature or shutter speed.
The photo i took is of a tree casting a creepy shadow on the wall of Somerset Middle School. SPOOKY It is a tree casted on the Somerset Middle School. There is a lot of positive space on the wall but between the tree limbs is negative space. Yes. I wanted to incorporate the texture of the wall and i also enjoyed the textural picture of the thin branches. All the branches are lines that cross and create texture and add additional interest visually. There is strong parts of the shadow (trunk and big branches) but also fine detailed shadow(little branches). Its creepy because its at night and its a long dangly tree enticing you with the detail but feel eery because its a dark shadow laying over you. Reflection(#5) I took a puddle in my driveway in a puddle. These techniques did not apply because i took the picture on a fly on my phone camera so i could not change or calculate the ISO WB apperature or shutter speed. This photo is the reflection of a tree in a puddle in my driveway.A tree, in a puddle, including both in the photo! I took the photo upside down, close up, and on an angle! I believe my photo is extremely interesting. It displays two types of trees being shown upside down in a puddle with muddy rocks on the side. I like the photo i see it as an image of trees turning into fall, completely empty of leaves. Usually when the trees fall it rains a lot and becomes cold which explains the puddle. The muddy surrounding, little bit of concrete, and grass give it texture and an earthy mood.Again, i enjoy the thinness of the tree limbs it gives it texture and detail.
